A small studio that makes bedding one order at a time.
daintyduvet is a sustainable specialty shop for duvet cover sets and home textiles in dainty, colourful, unique designs — drawn by us, sewn by people we know, and never mass produced.
Nothing is cut until someone asks for it.
When your order comes in, the design is digitally printed, then cut and sewn — usually within three to five business days.
Because we hold no inventory, we need no factory floor and no warehouse. It keeps our footprint small, lets us watch every piece closely, and means we can draw new designs as often as we like rather than betting a season on a print.
The textile industry is one of the largest sources of waste on earth.
We can't fix that. What we can do is refuse to add to it: a made-to-order system means no unsold stock, no landfill clear-outs, no warehouse humming through the night.
Each cover is produced and sent straight to the person who ordered it. Fewer pieces, made better, going only where they're wanted.
Questions we're asked most
Can I find your duvet covers on Amazon or other retailers?
No. Every design is drawn by us and sold only here and in our Etsy shop. Because each cover is handcrafted rather than mass produced, being everywhere isn't something we can do well.
Does the set include an insert or comforter?
No — we make duvet covers and pillowcases. They protect the duvet, comforter and pillows you already own, and give them colour.
How long until my order ships?
Please allow 3–5 business days for production. We use that time to check your order, digitally print your chosen design, then cut and sew the cover. Your tracking number is emailed within 3–7 days once the parcel is with the courier. After dispatch, delivery typically takes 7–14 business days to the United States, 10–18 to Canada, the UK and Europe, 10–18 to Australia and New Zealand, and 14–25 to the rest of the world, excluding customs processing.
Can you deliver to a relay point in France?
We don't use the Mondial Relay service ourselves, but you're welcome to enter a relay point as your shipping address and we'll send it there. Please leave a phone number so the courier can reach you — coordinating with the relay point isn't something we can do on your behalf.
What if my order isn't right?
Contact us within 3 days of delivery and return the set within 14 days for a full refund. Items must come back unwashed and in their original packaging. If something arrived damaged or printed incorrectly, we cover the return ourselves and remake or refund it.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold with a mild detergent and tumble dry low. Washing cold keeps the printed colours saturated for far longer.
Do you make custom sizes?
Yes. Because nothing is cut in advance, a custom measurement costs no more than a standard size. Email us your dimensions and we'll confirm before printing.
